Terms for leaving parcels outside the door for parcels in the mailbox
By using this service, you accept the following:
- You authorize Posten Bring to leave the parcel outside your door.
- Posten Bring's responsibility for the shipment ends when the parcel is delivered outside the door.
- The recipient is responsible for the parcel from the time it is delivered outside the door. This means that the recipient assumes all responsibility for any damage or loss of the parcel after delivery.
- The recipient will receive a notification when the parcel has been delivered.
- The service cannot be used at P.O.box addresses.
In order for the parcel to be returned, the following criteria must be met:
- The service applies to parcels that are delivered to the mailbox, including Norgespakke™ small.
- If the recipient lives in an apartment/block with a shared entrance, he must:
- Posten Bring has information on which floor the parcel is to be delivered to.
- Posten Bring has information about both the house number and the entrance.
- The door must be marked with a name (detailed delivery instructions can replace this requirement).
- The parcel must be able to be placed so that it does not conflict with current fire regulations. If this is not possible, the parcel will be delivered to the nearest pickup point.
- It is assumed that Posten Bring has access/keys to the common entrance.
- The distance from mailbox to door must not be more than 250 metres.
If the recipient lives in a detached house/terraced house with a separate entrance, he must:
- The home must be marked with a house number.
- The door must be marked with a name (detailed delivery instructions can replace this requirement).
- The distance from mailbox to door must not be more than 250 metres.
In cases where the above criteria are not met, the parcel will be delivered to your nearest pickup point.
